About Forest Monitor

Forest Monitor is a unique web service that brings well-founded facts about the Swedish forest to life using a web map, illustrations, graphics, animations, and 3D models. We are operated, further developed, and managed through project funding from the Postcode Foundation and private donations. Forestmonitor.eu is run by Protect the Forest Sweden.

Version 1.0 of Forestmonitor.eu was made possible through project funding from Naturkompaniet’s Nature Bonus in 2020. Forest Monitor’s data is being validated in field sample plots with funding from Naturkompaniet’s Nature Bonus 2023.
