Frame 26 – B

The clear-cut area is 13.5 hectares in size. Before felling, a dense, old-growth forest of Norway spruce grew here. The forest was populated with many old Goat willows, and many of these were covered with the lichen species Tree lungworth. In the tall Bilberry, that covered the ground, laid fallen spruce logs. A small creek crosses the forest, and here the water jumps and splashed between the rocks. The forest was logged by the state-owned and FSC-certified forestry company Sveaskog. The company felled all the trees accept the goat willows, some small tree groups, and a slim strip along the creek.
